How can I register on Elevate

If you are a registered member of OLI, you can sign up on Elevate. Simply go to the Community page and register when you are prompted to do so. 

I do not volunteer with OLI, can I still take the courses?

Yes, non-members can pay to take part in select courses. If any courses are available for purchase, they will be pinned at the top of our Announcement space.

I'd like to offer a course on Elevate, can I?

Yes! We welcome proposals from both OLI members and external subject matter experts interested in sharing high-quality, professional development content. Expanding our course offerings is central to the mission of Elevate.

To propose a new course, please draft a brief outline of your topic, learning objectives, and your professional background. Send your full proposal to the Member Success & Development Committee at elevate@olangi.org.

The Committee reviews all submissions, whether internal or external, to ensure they align with OLI’s mission, professional standards, and educational needs. We’ll be in touch regarding the next steps in the development process!

Is there a cost for joining Elevate?

No, access to Elevate is a key benefit of OLI membership.

Elevate is provided completely free of charge to all Volunteer, Contributing, and Sustaining Members of the Open Language Initiative. This platform is part of our commitment to giving back to our dedicated community by offering high-quality professional development and networking resources at no personal cost to you.

What language is used on the platform?

We are a proud, diverse community spanning many countries and languages. However, at this time, all training and official resources on Elevate are presented in English.

This allows us to focus our limited resources on developing robust, expert-level training. We recognize the need for multilingual content and hope to expand our offerings into other languages in the future as OLI continues to grow.
